The type H capacitor is of a new generation capacitor by Sheng Ye, which is filled with inert gas. It is the most environment-friendly product, with perfect characteristic of safety.
Except for the overpressure disconnector, a thermostat is installed in the terminal block to keep safety and protect the capacitor. The capacitor will be turn off when the temperature is over the preset value. And the capacitor will work again automatically after the temperature become normal.
When the overpressure disconnector take action, a signal from the controller will be sent out to shut the whole system off to avoid larger damage to the whole system in which several capacitors used together with the reactor for harmonic. Such damage may probablely be caused by harmonic resonance because of the imbalance of the reactance rate when one of these capacitors get broken.
